Internationally recognized five visual limit lines
If adolescent myopia is not controlled, it can increase by 100-200 degrees per year
The hazards of uncorrected myopia
Squint
Monocular myopia and binocular vision difference are significant. If these two conditions are not corrected in a timely manner, the glasses may involuntarily tilt outward over time, leading to strabismus.
Rapid increase in refractive power
Myopia makes it difficult to see objects and can exacerbate visual fatigue, leading to a rapid increase in refractive power and a more significant decline in vision.
Amblyopia
Monocular strabismus, high myopia, anisometropia, and other conditions can easily lead to amblyopia, which is more common during visual development and can be caused by developmental obstacles.
Eye deformation
The main culprit for large eye deformities is not wearing glasses, on the contrary, glasses are used to correct curvature and eye shape. Without glasses, eye deformities are even more severe.
Proptosis
The higher the degree, the longer the eyeball axis, so the more prominent the eyeball protrusion.
Eyes become smaller
When using concave convex lenses for the eyes, the thicker the lens, the smaller the appearance.
Eye tilt
Due to the weakening of the convergence function of the eyes, the imbalance of extraocular muscles leads to strabismus.
Dead meat
Due to varying degrees of visual impairment, the eyes become lifeless, known as dead fish eyes.
